After the meetup, went two doors down to Einstein's Bagels to return a phone call to Adam Ramirez; and spontaneously buying a box of 13 assorted bagels. Adam and I caught up with each other and I recounted my last few days in relative seclusion while regrouping, processing, reflecting on the last week. We ultimately decide to meet up at the place where he was staying later on.
Hammon Buck calls me asking for my help with a Facebook post he made a couple of days ago. Turned out it was a privacy setting mishap. We discuss how to have him take pictures in Europe while not running up a huge cell phone bill posting said pictures to Facebook. We settled on getting an inexpensive digital camera, an adaptor to connect it to an iPad, and using WiFi for the rest. Hammon was broke and hungry, and was looking around. I realized why I purchased the box of bagels and offer him the run of them. He consumed a couple of bagels; which made me grateful that I was able to provide him a meal! We went on an odyssey through the nearby OfficeMax, Staples, then Best Buy for a pack of usable gel pens (for me), and that inexpensive digital camera (Hammon). Afterwards, I showed him how to activate his mobile hotspot from his cell phone (proving some information he got from a salesperson to be inaccurate) so that he can use internet on his WiFi only iPad. Hammon and I part ways - he back to work; and I over to Adam's place of stay.
I come to Adam's place of stay to meet Ben - drummer who makes hemp necklaces; Georgio (physically looks young but extremely mature, and very very spiritual with an intense energy) & Maria; Tara who has a continous stream of interesting experiences happen to her; aforementioned Adam; another Adam (who wears and Om shirt, and is a very beautiful male soul) & Sophie(a?). Georgio is making a large batch of medicinal chocolate bars; and needs help packaging them for sale. We all start to chip in and socialize; and occasionally consume said bars. I felt those bars melt away my frustrations, anxiety, and bring in a lot of joy, bliss, being PRESENT, while having complete choice and control of my faculties. It is not the same sensation as felt by the inhalation of said medicinal herb - Georgio described it best. Inhaling it brings about an air elemental that leaves you floaty; while ingesting it is a grounding sensation. I also tried out some medicinal balm made of the same central ingredient which also contributed to the same emotions. I wasn't sure where to apply the balm; and Adam suggested I ask my body where to put it - I felt the sudden idea to topically apply it on the space above my upper lip, where a mustache would normally go. Georgio shows me the household space that is being built; and I found myself walking into a really strong energy field that was marking the space as being sacred. I bow in gratitude and add to the energy; and filled my water bottle from the dispenser in the room. The energy is so strong in this space that the water had blessed properties when I sampled. The topic of blessed water will come at another time.
After finishing the packaging of the bars, I head outside with Adam, as he wanted to show me the space he had been working in. What a place! Gardens, verandas, and a nice glass table in the shade, with a hammock to the side. We sat in the afternoon sun, just as the temperature was gently stepping down from the most heat intensive part of the daily goings of Albuquerque (4PM). We spent time musing how to title a section of his website, and poring over an online thesaurus. Adam & Sophie(a?) come out announcing she has made salad; and we retreat into the house to consume it. Carrots, peppermint, cilantro, chard with a light coconut oil dressing served freshly harvested and at room temperature. It was a very potent salad - the freshness and rawness of the ingredients danced with the space surrounding my tongue and nostrils; creating a virtual sphere of earthly harvest! The coconut oil only added to this sensation, though I suspect my joyful, blissful, relaxed state also contributed to the heightened sensations.
I finally had a very energetic and verbal conversation / exchange with Georgio - I think we talked for an hour and a half on various subjects while marveling at the sacred spaces he has around the house. Topics covered were a blur; and some could not be verbalized in human language. I ended leaving right before sunset as I needed to navigate back to hostel before I lose my eyesight for the evening. The bagels I consumed earlier were not agreeing with me, so at the hostel I drank some water and baking soda to settle and alkalize my body to neutralize the disharmony.
Tonight's Oracle card drawings were interesting. I was very casual with the Sonia Choquette deck. I did two drawings from the deck. This morning came up with the Bravado card, which I took to tell me to be brave in my goings today, and step out of my comfort zone. Tonight's drawing were the Shame card, which affirmed that I was in a self criticizing mood lately, and that I needn't do this - that it really is live and learn; and I on a whim outside of suggested protocol; drew a second card which was especially bright to me; and that drawing was the Relationship card; which affirmed that my nature guides were introducing all the right people into my life; and to be open with talking to anyone I found attractive (anyone, male or female, not necessarily in a romantic context).
Adam invited me to go sage picking with him and the others tomorrow in Santa Fe. I have yet to decide to do this; or stay in Albuquerque, call Veronica, maybe meetup with her; pick up my payment owed from Ed Buck; and attend the potluck meetup with the Empaths in the early evening. Decisions, Decisions!
